Cut all boards per the cut list, longest lengths first. Cut the angled front legs at 15° on the miter saw, both ends parallel, long point to short point. Measure in 1-3/4" from the short side of each leg, square a line, and trim off with a jigsaw to create a flat foot.

Assemble the back ladder sides and rungs with 2" self-tapping screws or pocket hole screws.

Attach the angled front legs to the back ladder, checking the overall bottom measurement is 18". Use 1-1/4" screws, brad nails, or staples and glue.

Mark points on the front legs and position the front ladder rungs in place. Use a level to check the boards sit level to the ground. Attach with pocket holes or 2" self-tapping screws.
