Measure the width of the drawer the organizer will live in.
Cut two long strips to the drawer's width, set them in the drawer, and test-fit a spice jar on top of them. Adjust the spacing between the two strips until the jar tilts to a readable angle without blocking the drawer from closing.
Measure the gap between the two long strips you just fitted, and cut two short connecting pieces to that exact length.
Sand all four pieces, then glue the short connecting pieces between the long strips to form a rectangular frame. Clamp until dry.
Repeat the process to build as many frames as needed to fill the width of the drawer.
Cut loose spacer strips to fill any leftover gap between the last frame and the drawer side — these don't need glue, just enough friction fit to keep everything from shifting. Load the drawer with spice jars.
