Tools: Drill / Driver, Pocket Hole Jig. Materials: 2x6, 8 ft or stud length (for 48" base), 2x6, 10 ft (for 60" base), Pocket hole screws, 2-1/2", Wood glue
Attach the longer 2x6 boards to the legs to create a rectangle, using 2-1/2" pocket hole screws and glue.
Tools: Drill / Driver, Pocket Hole Jig, Tape Measure. Materials: 2x6, 8 ft or stud length (for 48" base), 2x6, 10 ft (for 60" base), Pocket hole screws, 2-1/2", Wood glue
Attach the shorter remaining pieces to the legs with 2-1/2" pocket hole screws. Find the center of the rectangle and attach the cross brace pieces to it with 2-1/2" pocket holes and glue.
Tools: Drill / Driver. Materials: Screws for attaching tabletop, 2-1/2" (if top is 1-1/2" thick)
Flip the round tabletop upside down and attach the assembled base to its underside with screws sized to your tabletop's thickness.
Tools: Random Orbit Sander. Materials: Primer and paint, or stain and poly
Sand all surfaces and apply primer and paint, or stain and poly.
