A slim rolling pantry sized to slide into the narrow gap beside a fridge or between cabinets — dowel-retained shelves on caster wheels, buildable in any width from 4 in to 12 in.

Determine your gap's actual width, height, and depth. Cut the sides to your desired height minus the caster wheel height, and the shelves to your desired depth minus 2 in.
Tools: Drill / Driver, Pocket Hole Jig. Materials: 1x6, 8 ft (sized for a 6 in gap; substitute 1x4–1x12 to match your gap), Pocket hole screws, 1-1/4", or self-tapping wood screws, 2"
Attach the shelves to the sides using 3/4" pocket holes and 1-1/4" pocket hole screws.
Tools: Brad Nailer, Circular Saw. Materials: 1/4" plywood, full sheet, Brad nails or staples, 5/8"
Measure and cut the 1/4" plywood back to fit. Nail and glue to all back edges of the sides and shelves.
Tools: Drill / Driver. Materials: Wood dowel, 3/4" diameter, 36 in, Fixed caster wheels, 2–3 in, with screws, Brad nails or wood trim screws, 1-1/4" and 2"
Attach a dowel to the inside of the sides beneath each shelf. Attach caster wheels to the base of the unit, and add a handle if desired.
