Cut the plywood panel to your chosen leaf or panel shape using a template.
Tools: Drill / Driver, Forstner Bits. Materials: Oak plywood, 3/4", partial sheet
Drill angled holes with a forstner bit for the dowel legs, using an angled drill attachment for a consistent splayed stance.
Materials: Dowel rod, 1-1/4", 32in (legs), Dowel rod, 1", 18in (short braces), Dowel rod, 3/4", 32in (long brace)
Cut the dowel legs and the short and long cross braces to length.
Tools: Drill / Driver, Pocket Hole Jig. Materials: Pocket hole screws, Wood glue
Assemble the dowel legs into the panel using glue and pocket screws for the cross braces.
Sand and finish as desired.
