Drill pocket holes in the sides of each shelf. Attach the shelf trim to the shelf fronts and ends, keeping the trim flush with the shelf tops.

Build two identical end panels from the leg pieces and shelf end trim, joined with pocket hole screws and glue.

Attach the end panels to the shelves with pocket hole screws and glue, keeping everything flush and square.
