Mark the shelf joint locations on both the inside and outside of the side panels. Fasten the shelves to the sides with glue and 2" screws, placing the middle shelf at any height you prefer.

Fasten the support cleats to both the sides and the underside of the bottom shelf.

Using 2" nails and glue, fasten the legs to the sides and shelves, keeping them flush with the top edge and outside edge of the sides.

Fasten the shelf trim to the faces of the shelf edges with 1-1/4" nails and glue, then fasten through the sides of the legs into the ends of the shelf trim with 2" nails and glue, keeping top edges flush.

Attach the front top piece, minimizing the gap between the front and back top pieces.
