1. Drill the dowel holes
Tools: Drill / Driver, Drill Bit Set, Jigsaw. Materials: Pine, 1x6, 8 ft
Measure and mark the hole centers on both side panels. Drill with a 3/4" spade or Forstner bit sized exactly to the dowels — a loose hole lets the dowel (and everything hanging on it) tip. Cut the top and bottom corners off each side with a jigsaw or circular saw for a softer profile.
2. Build the case
Tools: Brad Nailer. Materials: Pine, 1x6, 8 ft
Attach the sides to the top and bottom.
3. Add the shelves
Tools: Brad Nailer. Materials: Pine, 1x6, 8 ft
Attach the main shelves to the sides.
4. Add the divider
Tools: Brad Nailer. Materials: Pine, 1x6, 8 ft
Attach the divider to the shelves.
5. Add the remaining shelf
Tools: Brad Nailer. Materials: Pine, 1x6, 8 ft
Attach the remaining small shelf.
6. Hang and add dowels
Tools: Drill / Driver. Materials: Wood dowels, 3/4", 36 in, Self-tapping screws, 3"
Hang the organizer on the wall through the back panel into studs, using 3" screws. Insert the dowels into the drilled holes to hold wrapping paper rolls upright.
