A two-bay melamine shelving unit built entirely from pre-finished white shelving boards, with an offset pocket-hole trick that keeps screws from colliding at the center divider.

Drill 3/4" pocket holes, three per end, on all shelving boards, offsetting them slightly to the right on every end to avoid intersecting screws at the center.

Attach shelves at the top and bottom of the first bay, placing center shelves at whatever heights suit your storage needs. Use 1-1/4" coarse thread pocket hole screws.

Repeat to add the second bay of shelving, sharing the center divider with the first bay.

Reinforce the shelving by adding the 1x4 bay supports under the bottom shelf and at the top, attaching to the underside of the shelves with 3/4" pocket holes and 1-1/4" pocket hole screws.

For added quality and support, attach the 1/4" plywood back, painted white to match, with 3/4" staples or brad nails.
