DIY Floral Centerpiece with Reclaimed Wood and Upcycled Jars

1Drill the vase holes

- Drill / Driver
- Drill Bit Set
Materials
- Cedar fence picket, 6 ft
Drill holes in the top board using a Forstner bit sized to your actual jar or vase diameter — for the 3-vase version, center the holes at 4", 7-1/2", and 11" along the board.
2Attach the top
Tools
- Brad Nailer
Materials
- Cedar fence picket, 6 ft
Attach the top to the two sides using brad nails and glue.
3Attach the bottom
Tools
- Brad Nailer
Materials
- Cedar fence picket, 6 ft
Attach the bottom to the two sides using brad nails and glue — flush to the ground, or raised on thin spacers if you want a slightly lifted look.
