A basic three-sided caddy — top, bottom, and two ends — but the top board's drilled holes are what actually do the work, cradling each jar so it can't tip even though the sides are open. Size the holes to whatever jar or vase you're actually using rather than a generic diameter; a hole that's too loose defeats the whole point of the caddy.
The bottom board can sit flush to the ground or be raised slightly on thin spacers — a small stylistic choice that changes how much the caddy looks like a deliberate plant stand versus a simple holder. Either works structurally; pick based on the look you want.

Drill holes in the top board using a Forstner bit sized to your actual jar or vase diameter — for the 3-vase version, center the holes at 4", 7-1/2", and 11" along the board.
Attach the top to the two sides using brad nails and glue.
Attach the bottom to the two sides using brad nails and glue — flush to the ground, or raised on thin spacers if you want a slightly lifted look.
