Step-by-step build — 3 steps. Also available as a print sheet.
Build two identical A-frames from the frame boards and cross braces. Use a scrap block cut at 45°, or a speed square, to guide placing the boards at the correct angle. Attach with 1-1/4" pocket hole screws or 2" self-tapping screws, gluing every joint.
Attach the two frames together with 1-1/4" nails, staples, or screws and glue. Lay a scrap board over the sides, trace the actual angle where it crosses, cut to that scribed line, and attach for additional side-to-side rigidity.
Set your buckets or baskets into the angled frames — the lean is what holds them in place with no extra hardware.
