Two identical A-frame shelf pieces from a single 1x6 board — sit them at any distance apart to span whatever you're organizing, or add a third for extra reach.

Carefully mark the shelf location on both the tall leg and the short leg. Attach the shelf to both legs with nails or screws, three per joint. Build two identical organizer pieces.

Position the two organizer pieces as far apart as needed for whatever they're organizing, and adjust as needed. For an even longer shelf, add a third organizer piece as a middle support. Sand and finish.
