Tools: Miter Saw, Speed Square. Materials: 2x4, 8 ft
Cut the two stringers to length with both ends at 30° off square, parallel to each other. This angle is what tilts the finished top to meet your legs — cut both identical.
Tools: Drill / Driver, Tape Measure. Materials: 1x4, 12 ft, Exterior deck screws, 2" and 2-1/2"
Lay the five 1x4 slats across the two stringers with even gaps between them for drainage, and attach with screws or nails. Keep the ends aligned.
Tools: Drill / Driver. Materials: 2x4, 8 ft, Exterior deck screws, 2" and 2-1/2"
Attach the two angled legs to the underside, then flip the stool right-side up. Ease any sharp edges and it's ready. Match it to your Adirondack chair and put your feet up.
