Wooden Tablet or Cookbook Stand

Attach the two 1x2 side rails together as shown, forming the shallow trough that will hold a tablet or book.

Attach the side rail assembly to the double-beveled back piece.

Measure and mark the support location against your actual tablet or book, then attach the base with glue and nails. Sand and apply wood stain.
