Step-by-step build — 6 steps. Also available as a print sheet.
Edge-glue the four 1x10 boards into a single tabletop panel and clamp on a flat, level surface. Alternate the direction of any visible grain cupping board to board so the whole panel resists warping evenly, and check the surface is flat with a straightedge before you walk away — a twist that sets in the glue is much harder to fix than one you catch now. Let it dry fully before moving on.
Build each end apron piece — this is what each pair of legs will mount to. Use pocket holes and glue at every joint, and check for square as you go.
Join the two end assemblies with the long side apron pieces, again with pocket screws and glue. Check the whole frame for square and for a flat sit before you go further — this apron carries the whole table's structure, and any racking here shows up as a wobble later.
Install the center support pieces to brace the long span of the apron and give the tabletop extra attachment points in the middle.
Mount the four turned legs to the apron corners using whatever hardware the leg manufacturer specifies — usually corner brackets or a threaded insert. Snug every leg evenly and check the table sits flat with no rock.
Center the finished apron assembly on the underside of the tabletop and screw up through the apron into the top, leaving an even overhang on all sides. Sand the whole table through the grits and finish as desired.
