This is the little sibling in the "Tryde" family of tables — the same breadboard-end tabletop construction and pocket-hole apron base as the larger console and coffee tables, scaled down to end-table size. Build the tabletop first as its own flat assembly (center boards, then breadboard ends), then build the base separately, so you're never fighting to keep a large glued-up top square while also chasing leg alignment.
Drive the pocket holes in the aprons before assembly, and pay attention to which face they're on — the plan's whole final step depends on those apron pocket holes already pointing up so the base can be screwed straight into the underside of the finished top.

Assumes 8 ft stock, a 1/8" saw kerf, and buying each part at its own width. Change the board size or kerf on the full board plan →
Drill 1-1/2" pocket holes along one long edge of two of the 2x6 boards, then attach all four 2x6 center pieces together with 2-1/2" pocket hole screws and glue.
Measure and cut the 2x4 breadboard ends, then attach them to the joined 2x6 center panel with 2-1/2" pocket hole screws.
Cut the four aprons to length and drill 1-1/2" pocket holes into each end.
Attach the aprons to the legs with 2-1/2" pocket hole screws, making sure the pocket holes meant for attaching the top are oriented upward.
Attach the base to the underside of the tabletop through the apron pocket holes with 2-1/2" pocket hole screws. Sand and finish with stain and topcoat.
