Tools: Table Saw. Materials: Plywood, 3/4", 4x8 sheet
Build the two side panels as true mirror images of each other, matching the outside dimensions of every other base cabinet in your run.
Tools: Drill / Driver, Pocket Hole Jig. Materials: Plywood, 3/4", cheaper grade, 4x8 sheet
Attach the two bottom-support strips to the two side panels.
Tools: Drill / Driver, Pocket Hole Jig. Materials: Plywood, 3/4", 4x8 sheet
Attach the bottom shelf to the two bottom supports and one side panel, then attach the remaining side panel to complete the base.
Attach the top supports across the front and back of the carcass.
Tools: Brad Nailer. Materials: Plywood, 1/4", 4x8 sheet
Attach the back panel with 3/4" finish nails and glue. On a sink base, the back can be left off entirely to leave room for supply lines and a drain trap — if you do, still add small strips of 1/4" plywood at the top and bottom of the opening, which brings the cabinet's back edge out 1/4" to match cabinets with full backs.
Tools: Drill / Driver, Pocket Hole Jig.
Build the face frame separately, then attach the completed frame to the front of the cabinet. Sides overextend by 1/4" on each side; the top is flush; the bottom is flush at the sides with the bottom shelf set up 1/2".
Tools: Drill / Driver. Materials: Cabinet door, full overlay, Drawer face, Concealed euro hinges, 1-1/4" overlay
Install the two full-overlay doors and the drawer front using concealed euro hinges with a 1-1/4" overlay.
