Step-by-step build — 5 steps. Also available as a print sheet.
Cut the aluminum angle with a jigsaw fitted with a metal-cutting blade, cut to your desired height without casters. Cut the wood shelves to your desired length with a circular saw or miter saw.
Predrill holes where the metal angle will attach to the wood shelves. Attach the angle iron legs to the shelves with self-tapping wood screws.
Flip the assembled shelf over and attach caster wheels to the base of the legs.
If the shelf feels wobbly, attach aluminum flat bar to the back with screws for extra support.
Sand the wood shelves and apply primer and paint, or stain and poly.
