Join the four 1x4 frame boards at the corners with 1-1/4" brad nails and glue, forming a shallow open box.
Tools: Brad Nailer. Materials: Plywood, 3/4", cut to 39" x 28-1/2"
Attach the plywood bottom to the underside of the frame with 1-1/4" brad nails and glue.
Tools: Drill / Driver. Materials: Small caster wheels, Wood screws
Attach the four caster wheels to the corners of the bottom, making sure they sit flat and square so the tray rolls straight in and out from under the bed.
