Cut craft paper templates in a leaf shape, in three graduated sizes sized to your own space and to nest together.
Tools: Circular Saw, Jigsaw. Materials: Oak plywood, 3/4", partial sheet
Trace the templates onto the oak plywood, orienting the grain to follow the leaf shape, then cut out each tabletop with a jigsaw and true up any long straight edges with a circular saw.
Materials: Edge banding
Apply edge banding to all cut edges and trim flush.
Tools: Pocket Hole Jig. Materials: Wood glue, Purchased furniture legs, set of 3
Attach the purchased furniture legs to the underside of each top with pocket screws and glue.
Tools: Random Orbit Sander
Sand and finish all three tables.
