This is a wall mirror with a secret: behind the reflective front is a shallow cabinet of 1x6 shelves, sized to hold makeup, nail polish, medicine, and the small clutter that otherwise fills a bathroom counter. The mirror mounts to the front, the storage hides behind it against the wall.
The build is two ladder-like 1x2 frames joined face to face, with 1x6 shelves spanning between them. All the joinery is pocket screws, and the trick is to orient every pocket hole facing backward — toward the wall — so none of them show from the front or the open shelf side. You attach the two frames together through those back-facing holes with 2" screws; if you nail instead, the plan has you reinforce the joint, because a cabinet full of bottles hanging on a wall shouldn't rely on brad nails alone.
Mount it with a French cleat if you can — it makes a heavy wall cabinet easy to hang dead level and easy to lift off, and it spreads the load across the wall better than a couple of screws. The mirror itself attaches to the front last, with mirror adhesive or mounting stickies. Size everything around the 13" x 49" mirror; if yours is different, adjust the frame length to match.

Pocket-hole and assemble two matching ladder frames from the 1x2 stiles and rails. Keep them square and identical — they stack face to face, so any difference between them shows as a twist.
Attach the two frames together with the 2" screws, and here's the key detail: orient every pocket hole so it faces backward, toward the wall. That keeps all the holes hidden from the front and from the open shelf side. Add the 1x6 shelves spanning between the frames as you go.
If you assembled the frames with nails instead of the 2" screws, reinforce the joints now — a wall cabinet loaded with bottles puts real, constant load on those connections, and brads alone will work loose over time. Screws or added blocking make it solid.
Sand and finish the unit. Mount it to the wall with the 2-1/2" screws into studs, or — better — with a French cleat, which hangs it dead level, spreads the load, and lets you lift it off later.
Attach the mirror to the front last, with mirror adhesive or mounting pads. Doing the mirror last means you never have to maneuver a heavy glass panel during assembly.
