Mark out the moon shape on the 1/2" plywood pieces using the pattern, making sure to draw the reference line 4" from center — this line is what keeps the moon shapes evenly placed on the base later. Cut out carefully with a jigsaw, and cut the sharp points of the moon shape off square to avoid sharp edges.
Clamp the two moon-shaped sides together and sand the outside edges smooth, working from a coarse grit down to medium, until both sides are identical.
Build the angled leg sets using either pocket holes or 2" self-tapping screws.
Join the two leg sets with the center stretcher.
Attach the base of the doll crib to the leg assembly.
Working from the base upward, attach the side boards to the moon-shaped sides with 2" screws and wood glue.
