Cut the two stringers to length with both ends at 30° off square, parallel to each other. This angle is what tilts the finished top to meet your legs — cut both identical.
Lay the five 1x4 slats across the two stringers with even gaps between them for drainage, and attach with screws or nails. Keep the ends aligned.
Attach the two angled legs to the underside, then flip the stool right-side up. Ease any sharp edges and it's ready. Match it to your Adirondack chair and put your feet up.
