Attach the two sides to the bottom, orienting the top angles so the bevel's long point is on the inside. This sets up the roof to sit correctly.

Mark the roof pieces 1" in from the square-cut end to lay out the roof overhangs. Hot glue the two roof panels together at the peak, then attach the assembled roof to the sides.

For the back, trace the stable's shape onto a piece of 1/4" plywood (or other backer) and cut it out, or plank the back with more cedar fence picket for a consistent look. Attach it and add your Nativity figures.
