Every measurement in this rack starts from the legs, which is why the plan insists on marking all four at once, side by side, before cutting a single glide location — a rack built leg-by-leg almost never ends up with its two ends identical, and mismatched glide heights are exactly what makes a slide-out tray bind. The X-braces between the legs aren't just decoration either: they're what keeps a tall, narrow rack like this from racking side to side once it's loaded with produce, and they only work if their compound angles are traced directly off the actual leg assembly rather than cut to a generic angle.
Each tray needs to be built dead square to slide cleanly — build one first, test that it runs freely in its glides, and only then build the rest to match. That one test tray catches a bad glide or an out-of-square frame before you've repeated the mistake three times over.

Mark all four legs at the same time with the side-glide locations so both ends of the rack come out identical — mismatched glide heights are what make a tray bind later. Attach the glides to the legs with 2" brad nails and glue, keeping every glide square to the leg.
Trace the brace angles directly off the assembled leg pair before cutting, rather than cutting to a generic angle. Attach both braces from the inside with 1-1/4" brad nails and glue — one brace is enough for stability, but a second adds extra rigidity against racking.
Once both leg-and-glide assemblies are complete, add the front and back supports to tie them together into the full frame.
Build one drawer tray from the drawer sides, ends, and slats, keeping it square — a tray that isn't square won't slide cleanly in the glides. Test-fit it in the frame before building the rest.
Once the first tray slides freely, build the remaining trays to match it exactly.
If the top shelf feels too tight for reaching in and grabbing produce, move its front support to the top of the frame instead of the front face — this opens up the top shelf considerably, at the cost of losing the trim look on that one shelf.
Sand every surface and finish.
