This is just the nesting box itself, not a coop — a 1x12 floor-and-side frame with a 20° angled top edge on the sides, walled and roofed in cedar fence picket boards. Build the basic box with 2" screws and a countersink bit, then add the top supports before moving to the walls.
The front and back are cedar fence picket boards attached over the frame — a scrap 1x4 works just as well for the front if that's what you have on hand, since the plan itself substitutes one on the original build. Dry-fit the roof boards before nailing anything down, working from the bottom of the angled roof up to the top edge so each board's overlap sits correctly on the one below it.
Raising the floor is a legitimate option if you want the nesting box up off the ground a bit more than this build's default height — the plan notes this explicitly as a simple modification.

Build the sides and floor with 2" screws and a countersink bit.
Attach the top supports across the top of the box.
Attach the cedar fence picket boards to the front and back of the box.
Dry-fit the roof boards on top, then starting at the bottom and working up to the top, attach each one in place.
