Pegboard is the most flexible way to store hand tools, but it's usually screwed to a wall — fine until the tools need to move with you, between a garage, a job site, or a house you're mid-move out of.
This rack puts pegboard on a rolling 2x4 frame instead. The 5° leg angle on both A-frame sides is what keeps the whole thing stable standing on its own, top-heavy with tools, without needing a wide, space-hogging footprint.
Add scrap plywood shelves between the frames for anything that doesn't hang on a hook, and don't cut corners on the casters — this thing gets heavier than it looks once it's loaded.

Cut the four legs and two top braces at 5°, and the four base pieces square, per the cut list. Set your saw's angle once and cut every angled piece before changing it back — that's what keeps both A-frame sides matching.
Drill pocket holes in one end of each 6ft leg and assemble two A-frame sides, joining the legs to the base pieces at the bottom and the top braces near the top.
Cut the pegboard to fit and screw it to the front face of each A-frame side, then install your pegboard hooks in whatever layout suits your tools.
Measure and cut scrap plywood to fit between the two A-frame sides for anything that doesn't hang on a hook — a battery charger, a parts bin, a roll of tape.
Attach two fixed and two locking swivel casters to the base, one at each corner.
Check that both locking casters actually engage before you load the rack — a rack that rolls away mid-repair is worse than no rack at all.
