Step-by-step build — 3 steps. Also available as a print sheet.
Join the 1x12 boards edge to edge to form two panels — one for the top, one for the shelf — using 3/4" pocket holes and 1-1/4" pocket hole screws. Then drill 3/4" pocket holes around the edges of both panels for attaching to their frames.
Measure the actual width of your assembled 1x12 panels and cut the 2x2 end frame pieces to match. Drill a 1-1/2" pocket hole in each end of these pieces, then attach the panels to the frames with 1-1/4" pocket hole screws and glue.
Build the side frames with 1-1/2" pocket holes, 2-1/2" pocket hole screws, and glue, then attach the side frames to the panel assemblies to complete the table's box shape.
