Step-by-step build — 4 steps. Also available as a print sheet.
Mark the panel as if folding it into a paper snowflake: first the quarters, then divide each quarter into thirds. Every resulting line should be 30° apart from the next — use a speed square or protractor to check.
Download and print the cutout pattern at 100% scale. Place it on the panel and trace, then flip and repeat around the full circle using your reference lines until the whole snowflake outline is marked.
Clamp the panel securely to a sturdy table. Cut carefully along the traced lines with a jigsaw fitted with a scrolling blade. For any interior cutouts, drill a starting hole larger than the jigsaw blade first, since the blade can't plunge-cut from a solid surface.
Sand any rough edges smooth. Spray paint is recommended for the easiest, most even finish across the many small cut edges.
