We’re showing you how to build a full-sized platform bed for only $50 in materials. If you’ve ever wanted to switch to a platform bed and ditch the box spring and huge headboard/foot board, this is what you need. You can build this platform bed in just a day.

Instructions
1Make Cuts
Make all your cuts according to the cut list and sand. Add pocket holes to sides, supports and legs.
2Build Box Frame
Attach sides to the front and back, then add inner supports along front, back and sides.
3Attach Legs
Attach the legs to the leg supports.
4Add Slats
Add two center support beams and then lay slats down evenly across the supports.
