The whole house silhouette comes from one repeated angle: every peaked cut on the end frames is 30°, cut long-point to long-point so the two frames come out identical. Build both frames before joining them, and check them against each other — held back to back, the roofline peaks should line up exactly, or the desktop panel won't sit flat once it's notched around the frame.
Placing the pocket holes facing upward when you join the frames with the side pieces is a small detail worth not skipping: it's what lets the shelving and desktop panels hide every pocket hole in the next step, so the finished desk shows no visible screws anywhere on the exterior. If you can't find a project panel in your area, 1x12 boards edge-joined to width are a straightforward substitute — just glue and clamp them the same way you would any other tabletop glue-up.

Build two identical house-shaped end frames from the roof peak pieces and legs. A pocket hole jig works well here — the pocket holes handle the angled joints cleanly. Use the 1-1/2" setting and 2-1/2" pocket screws.
Attach the two end frames together with the side connector pieces and shelf supports. Place the pocket holes facing upward so the shelving and desktop panels hide them completely once installed.
Notch the corners of the desktop and shelf panels to fit around the frame's legs, then attach to the frames with glue and 1-1/4" brad nails.
