Every part of this build comes from four sheets of 3/4" plywood ripped into 15-1/4"-wide strips, not solid 1x12 boards — a genuinely different construction from the smaller barn-door entertainment center elsewhere in this catalog, and one that scales this piece to a full 11-foot wall span. Build two identical towers first: pocket-hole each shelf into the sides, using a cut spacer block to keep spacing consistent, with the top shelf's pocket holes facing up and every other shelf's facing down.
The center console is built the same way as the towers, but its top and center divider need extra attention to hide fasteners — face the top's pocket holes outward, since the towers will cover them on final assembly, and orient the center divider's visible pocket holes toward whichever side faces away from the room. Attach the whole media wall to studs in the wall once assembled — this piece is meant to be secured, not just set in place.
Face frames are what make the small assembly imperfections disappear — measure and cut the 1x6 top/bottom trim and 1x2 stiles to fit your actual assembled dimensions rather than a fixed number, since plywood width and joint variance add up across an 11-foot span. Build the doors from 1x4 (MDF recommended for paint grade) framing a 1/4" plywood panel, install the barn door hardware, then level the rail carefully — an unlevel rail will make the doors drift to one side over time.

Some parts are longer than a 8 ft board, so there is no honest board count to show here. Open the board plan to pick a longer stock length — it names every part that does not fit.

Drill three pocket holes on each end of every shelf board. Attach to the sides, spacing with a 14" block as a guide — top shelf pocket holes facing up, all others facing down. Add the tower bay supports flush to the back at the top. Build two identical towers.
Build the center console the same way, with top pocket holes facing outward to be hidden by the towers, and the center divider's pocket holes facing away from the room if possible.
Attach the center bay supports to the underside of the center shelves, then attach the center shelves and bay supports to the towers. Secure the whole assembly to studs in the wall.
Measure and cut the face frame top/bottom trim and stiles to fit the assembled unit. Attach with brad nails and glue, filling nail holes and sanding smooth.
Build the door frames from the stiles and rails with pocket holes. Nail the plywood panels to the back of each frame with brad nails and glue.
Attach the door hanger hardware to the doors, hold in place to mark the rail location, and install the rail, checking it's level so the doors don't drift.
Sand all surfaces and apply primer and paint, or stain and poly.
