This is a genuinely advanced build by this catalog's own standards, combining a thick 2x6 plank top with a fully framed drawer bay in the apron and an open bottom shelf below — three separate systems that all need to line up. The plan is explicit that its board-width assumptions must match your actual lumber — it lists the exact expected widths for every board size used (1x12 at 11-1/4", 1x3 at 2-1/2", and so on) and warns the whole plan breaks if your boards are ripped or milled differently; check this before cutting anything.
Build the bottom shelf first from 1x12s with 1x3 supports underneath, then attach the legs — marked and mounted 4-3/4" up from the base, either nailed or pocket-holed depending on preference. The side and back aprons come next, and this is where the drawer framing lives: four long 1x3 rails plus shorter cross members create the two drawer bays, sized for 16" euro-style corner-mount slides.
The top is the one place worth deliberately cutting as you go rather than to the plan's exact numbers — five 2x6 boards plus two narrower fitted end pieces, and the plan itself recommends measuring the fitted pieces against your actual assembled base rather than trusting a fixed cut length. Drawer faces and knobs go on last, with an even reveal gap on all sides.

Confirm your actual board widths match the plan's assumptions (1x12 at 11-1/4", 1x3 at 2-1/2", 1x2 at 1-1/2", 1x6 at 5-1/2", 2x6 at 5-1/2", 1x4 at 3-1/2"). If different, rip your boards to size or adjust the plan.
Attach the bottom shelf supports to the underside of the 1x12 shelf boards with 1-1/4" finish nails and glue, adjusting for square.
Mark all legs 4-3/4" from the base and attach to the bottom shelf with glue and either nails or pocket holes, keeping the legs square.
Attach the back and side aprons to the legs, then attach the trim pieces.
Assemble the drawer framing rails and cross pieces into two drawer bays sized for 16" euro-style drawer slides.
Build the drawer boxes with brad nails and glue, attaching bottoms with brad nails and glue. Install on the drawer slides.
Attach the five top boards, then measure and cut the two end pieces to fit against the assembled base, cutting as you go for best fit. Attach with pocket holes and glue.
Attach the drawer faces with an even reveal gap and add knobs. Sand all surfaces and apply primer and paint, or stain and poly.
